Truck Driver CDL A – Paid OTR Training

American Driver is hiring in Panama City, FL. Panama City sits on US-98 along the Gulf Coast with direct access to I-10 — a solid base for drivers running Eastern OTR lanes with freight moving through one of Florida’s busiest Panhandle corridors.

This is a full-time W2 position with a fully paid training program for drivers who have completed their CDL school hours.

Training:

• 4–6 weeks fully paid with a dedicated mentor
• Real loads from day one — no classroom simulations
• Covers ELD operation, HOS compliance, inspections, and daily operations
• Weekly pay throughout
• Solo at $0.56 CPM after completion

Day to Day:

• Dry van, no-touch freight
• 60% drop and hook
• 2,200–2,500 miles per week
• Eastern routes with consistent freight
• Day and night runs depending on dispatch

Pay:

• $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
• Weekly earnings typically $1,200–$1,500
• Stop, layover, and breakdown pay included
• Six-month pay increase
• $300 paid orientation
• Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

• Home every two weeks on a set, planned schedule

Equipment:

• Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
• APUs on all assigned trucks

• Valid Class A CDL, age 21+
