Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver position located in Richmond, VA. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating company trucks to transport materials to various job sites while adhering to safety and traffic regulations. Daily responsibilities will include ensuring the proper loading and unloading of materials, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Collaboration with team members and punctual delivery schedules are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Experience and proficiency in truck driving and operation of heavy vehicles
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and adherence to safety standards
- Experience with loading, securing, and unloading materials
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks
- Understanding of basic vehicle safety and regulatory compliance
- Previous experience in industrial or construction-related trucking is a plus
