Truck Driver Jobs in Youngstown, OH at Masonry Materials Plus Inc
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, boom, and moffett.
– Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy equipment.
– Ensure that all cargo is secure and properly loaded to prevent damage during transportation.
– Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
– Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery routes.
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
– Experience driving various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, boom, and Moffett trucks.
– Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
– Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift operation is a plus.
– Previous experience as a delivery driver or roll-off truck driver is preferred.
