Responsibilities
- Safely operate different types of heavy machinery
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, adhering to schedules while maintaining safe driving practices.
- Secure freight properly for transport, especially when handling specialized loads like refrigerated goods or tanker liquids.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments, including load manifests and Communicate
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience pulling a step deck. A minimum of 2 years hauling heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and vehicle maintenance standards.
