Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join us pulling dry van and open top trailers. You will be responsible for safely operating over the road throughout the midwest. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailers, dry van trailers and open top trailers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving to ensure safe delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Proven experience in truck driving.
- Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles preferred; ability to operate various truck configurations including open top trailers.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight transportation and vehicle operation.
- Experience with route driving across urban and rural areas with a focus on timely deliveries.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients.
Pay: $1,500.00 – $3,000.00 per week
