Duties
- Operate box trucks with precision and safety.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel consumption.
- Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and hazardous materials regulations to ensure safety on every trip.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit,
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, route driving, or delivery driver roles with a strong safety record.
- Knowledge of truck driving regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), and hazardous materials regulations.
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jack when required for loading or unloading freight.
- Strong understanding of GPS navigation tools and route planning strategies to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Excellent manual handling skills with attention to safety protocols during cargo loading/unloading processes.

Pay: $3,000.00 – $3,500.00 per month
