Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Hounslow. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport materials and equipment to and from telecommunication project sites. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing loads, and unloading materials at designated locations. The role involves planning routes, adhering to schedules, and complying with all DOT regulations and company safety policies. The Truck Driver will also maintain accurate delivery records, communicate with dispatch and project teams, and report any vehicle issues or delays promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license and a strong record of safe truck driving.
- Hands-on experience with truck operations, including loading and unloading procedures.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to regulatory and safety compliance.
- Ability to operate and maneuver different types of trucks in varied site and road conditions.
- Good communication and time-management skills, with the ability to follow schedules and instructions.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks such as securing loads and unloading materials.
- Previous experience supporting construction or telecommunication projects is an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site in Hounslow with occasional flexible hours as needed.
