Transportation Supervisor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Transportation Supervisor to oversee our client’s daily fleet operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support drivers in delivering efficient and reliable service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, including National Safety Code (NSC) standards and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily transportation operations, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and route management
Ensure full compliance with National Safety Code (NSC) standards and applicable provincial/state regulations
Monitor and enforce Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
Work with 3PL carriers for lanes, rates and routes
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, driver qualifications, and regulatory documentation
Address customer service concerns and resolve operational issues promptly
Provide training and coaching to drivers on safety and compliance procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of transportation or fleet supervisory experience
Demonstrated knowledge of National Safety Code (NSC) standards
Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and compliance monitoring
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Salary: 65-80,000 range
