Tractor Trailer Driver Jobs in Tamuning at Baker International Inc.
As a member of the Baker International Trucking Team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods throughout the island including all Military Installations, maintaining your tractor and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operating tractor-trailer vehicles safely, including navigating urban areas
- Planning efficient routes to ensure timely delivery while minimizing fuel consumption
- Securing freight to prevent damage and verifying weight limits
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and delivery orders
- Performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicating with dispatchers, freight coordinators and clients
- Providing customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess “C” Class Driver License
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of tractor trailer operation
- Attention to safety and regulatory compliance
- Able to work collaboratively and independently where required
- Must be available and flexible to work day shifts including weekends and holidays
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
