We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for towing vehicles safely and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the maintenance and repair of our fleet of tow trucks. Responsibilities:
– Drive a tow truck safely and efficiently to and from the scene of an accident, breakdown, or other emergency.
– Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tow trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
– Load and unload vehicles onto or off of the tow truck, taking care to secure them safely.
– Diagnose and address any mechanical issues that may arise during towing.
– Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and responding to their needs.
– Manage conflicts and difficult situations in a professional and respectful manner.
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
– Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure or in emergency situations.
– Collaborate with other drivers and mechanics to ensure the efficient operation of the fleet.
Requirements:
– Experience driving a tow truck or other heavy-duty vehicle.
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
– Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
– Strong customer service and conflict management skills.
– Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
– Physical stamina to withstand long hours of driving and physical labor.
– Mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
– A clean driving record and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
– A passion for working with vehicles and providing exceptional customer service.
