Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance! In this energetic role, you will operate tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and ensure timely recovery of disabled or illegally parked vehicles. Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing or repair
- Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, motorists, and dispatch teams
- Perform basic mechanical adjustments as needed to prepare vehicles for transport
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations
- Perform tire changes, door unlocks, winch outs and fuel delivery
Skills
- Proficiency in operating manual transmissions and understanding of automotive systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe driving of tow trucks and related equipment
- Ability to pass background check
- Skilled in conflict management to handle difficult situations professionally
- Experience with flatbed tow trucks
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws
- Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication abilities
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards
