We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing assistance to motorists in need. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism while interacting with customers. Spanish spoken driver preffered
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to safely transport vehicles.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions prior to towing.
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck with precision and care.
- Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred.(Optional)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
- Proficiency in operating tow trucks and forklifts safely.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
