Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while assisting customers in distress.
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of tow trucks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the towing process.
- Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and use of self loader/ dollies when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide timely assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road.
- Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license
Skills
- Proven experience in operating light duty towing equipment with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate self loader, wheel lift and dollies.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for clients in need of assistance.
- Capability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communications skills
