Tanker Driver – CDL -A Jobs in Ashland, KY at Carolina Transport of Oakridge
Carolina Transport (CTO) is currently hiring experienced CDL Class A Truck Drivers with a focus on Tanker and Tractor Trailer & Tanker Combo driving. Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- Minimum 12+ months of driving experience (Tanker experience preferred)
- Experience with Tractor-Trailer/Tanker Combo and specific product handling
- TWIC Card required or ability to obtain a card
- Regional -2-3 nights a week
Job Responsibilities:
- Hauling propane, butane, liquid asphalt, and other hazardous products
- Pay based on load: Propane/Butane (% of load), Liquid Asphalt (load pay)
- Record and document load information using QV21 and TMW workflow systems
- Read gauges, calculate tank quantities, and determine load amounts
- Connect/disconnect hoses and piping to customer and pipeline facilities
