Superdump Truck Drivers
Working Schedule: Seasonal: April to November – Possible Winter work
Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience with Super Dump truck backing up truck into Hot Mix Asphalt Paver.
Requirements:
- Current CDL-Class A, with an excellent driving record, insurable, and has a safety first attitude;
- Mechanical ability;
- Common sense and safety conscious;
- Ability to operate CB is required;
- Able to read a map/follow directions to job sites;
- Dependable with good work ethic.
- No recent moving or driving violations.
- Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
Duties:
- Transport hot mix asphalt, aggregates, sand, etc., to job-sites.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Paperwork: document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify required paperwork for accuracy.
Salary:
- Hourly Rate Range $30 to $40 DOE
Required Licenses:
- CLASS A CDL
Special Skills:
- Backing up truck and trailer into tight areas
- Backing up truck into Hot Mix Asphalt Paver
- Ability to drive multiple types of Trucks & Trailers
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
