The City of Burlington will be accepting applications for full time employment with the Street Department in the position of Steet Maintenance / Equipment Operator. Duties include but not limited to:
Maintenance with street repair including asphalt and concrete curb and gutter, operating equipment such as back hoe, loader, street sweeper, driving trucks and other equipment associated with the Street Department.
This is a full-time position, 40 hrs. per week. Starting salary will range from $46,000 to $48,000 annually depending on qualifications. Benefits include Paid Vacation, Sick leave, Medical, Vision, Dental, Flight for Life insurance, and 401K with 5% matching after 1 year of employment. A pre‑employment drug screen and background check will be required.
