Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated SOLO CDL Class A OTR Hazmat Driver to join our team! This role will require Hazmat and Double endorsements. We require atleast 1 year of experience. You will be home weekly and sometimes during the week. These are regional routes out of Illinois going within a 500 mile radius.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers ensuring timely deliveries.
- Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) in compliance with all federal and state regulations, including proper documentation and handling procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, route details, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
