We operate late-model, well-maintained Class 8 trucks and focus on professionalism, safety, and long-term relationships with both our drivers and contractor partners.
We are currently hiring an experienced Side Dump Operator to join our team.
Position Overview
As a Side Dump Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently hauling and unloading aggregate materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and asphalt using side dump trailers on active construction sites.
This role requires strong situational awareness, precision unloading skills, and experience working around heavy equipment and uneven terrain.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 truck with side dump trailer safely and professionally
- Haul aggregate materials to and from job sites across the Wasatch Front
- Perform safe and controlled side-dump unloading on uneven ground
- Communicate effectively with site foremen, loaders, and dispatch
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and trailer
- Follow all DOT, company, and job-site safety requirements
- Represent Zoink LLC in a professional manner at all job sites
Qualifications ***MUST HAVE DOCUMENTED SIDE DUMP EXPERIENCE***
- Valid Class A CDL (required)
- Side dump experience REQUIRED
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate in tight job sites and variable terrain
- Strong understanding of load distribution and trailer stability
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
