We are currently seeking a dependable, friendly, and self-motivated Shuttle Driver & Facility Support Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while helping keep our facilities organized, clean, and operating efficiently.

Position Summary

The Shuttle Driver & Facility Support Associate is responsible for safely transporting customers, picking up and delivering automotive parts, and assisting with general facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks when not driving.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes initiative, and likes staying busy throughout the day. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, have excellent customer service skills, and take pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Transportation

  • Safely transport customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other destinations
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service at all times
  • Assist customers entering and exiting vehicles when required
  • Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle vehicle
  • Represent Columbia Auto Group in a professional manner while interacting with customers and the public

Parts Pickup & Delivery

  • Pick up and deliver automotive parts and supplies between suppliers and company locations
  • Verify deliveries and ensure parts are transported safely and accurately
  • Assist with inventory movement between locations as required

Facility Support

When not performing driving duties, responsibilities may include:

  • General housekeeping and cleaning of shop and customer areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and maintaining tidy workspaces
  • Light building and property maintenance
  • Organizing storage areas and supplies
  • Assisting technicians and service advisors with miscellaneous tasks
  • Yard maintenance and seasonal duties, including snow removal assistance and outdoor cleanup
  • Monitoring facility appearance and identifying maintenance needs
  • Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks when capable
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence
  • Clean Driver's Abstract and insurable driving record
  • Comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Excellent driving habits and commitment to safety
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience in automotive, delivery, maintenance, or facility support roles
  • General handyman or maintenance skills
  • Familiarity with the Waterloo Region and surrounding areas
