Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable seasonal Shuttle Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or similar roles.
Duties:
- Pick up and drop off passengers at regularly scheduled locations, following strict time schedules.
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as washing shuttle exterior, vacuuming/cleaning interior, and refueling.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations using telephone.
- Complete accident reports when necessary.
- Check the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
- Submit reports that may include the number of passengers per trip.
- Enforces and abides by all company policies to ensure health and safety compliance.
Skills:
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or related roles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized shuttle vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Work Context:
Primarily shifts between 6am and noon, 24-40 hours per week. Must be able to remain in stationary position for majority of shift.
