Shuttle & 2 Day LTL Routes- CDL-A Driver Jobs in Granite City, IL at Lanter Distributing
Lanter Distributing, LLC is a leading temperature controlled warehousing and transportation organization.
We are seeking experienced Class-A CDL Drivers for our Granite City, IL (St. Louis) location to do Shuttle and one 2 day LTL runs with WEEKENDS OFF. In addition to loading and unloading product, our delivery driver may engage with customers, collect payments, and prepare delivery reports.
We are currently looking to fill the following position:
- LTL driver (occasional touch freight)-& WEEKENDS OFF!!
SHIFT: Multiple shifts available
- Monday-Friday
- Sunday-Thursday
SALARY: Between $30-$32+/hour
Requirements and Job Duties:
- Must have at least 2 years verifiable tractor trailer experience
- Able to move equipment or product weighing up to 60 pounds
- Use of 2-wheel dolly and/or pallet jack to load and unload cargo
- Verify load for accuracy and deliver to customer as instructed
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- Attention to detail is a must
- Reefer trailer experience a plus!
- Must pass a DOT Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check prior to employment
