We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for yard shunting duties at our customer premises in Whittlesey.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 22:00 – 06:00.
Responsibilities
- Use a tug to shunt trailers on-site according to customer requirements.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers and the public.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and adhere to health & safety and company procedures.
- Carry out physical tasks such as coupling/uncoupling units, loading/unloading, and climbing into trailers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in shunting preferred; full training provided.
- Possess a Category C+E HGV license; a clean license is advantageous.
- Comfortable with physical tasks and outdoor work.
- Ideally experienced in the agricultural sector.
