Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable Drivers holding a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and do Dry Van Hauling.
- Transport freight including refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (hazmat), and other cargo across long distances while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Deliver Live Load and live unloaded no touch freight, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo manifests in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record, with a minumum of 1 year driving experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT safety standards.
- Experience handling Dry Van and refrigerated trailers..
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
- Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
