Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying badges, screening visitors according to site procedures, and documenting security-related events and observations.
• Support hospital operations by assisting with directions, escort requests, and other routine security-related duties while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
