Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Route Driver role based in San Francisco, CA. The Route Driver will safely operate company trucks to deliver dairy and specialty food products to restaurants, food service accounts, and other customers along established routes. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, verifying orders and delivery documentation, and handling products with care to maintain quality. The role involves providing courteous, professional customer service at each stop, resolving basic delivery issues, and communicating any concerns to the dispatch or operations team. The Route Driver will also inspect vehicles before and after routes, follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and maintain accurate logs and delivery
records.
Qualifications
- Safe commercial driving skills, including experience with Truck Driving and operating a commercial Truck in varied urban and suburban conditions.
- Valid CDL Class C driving license with a clean driving record.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and accurate completion of delivery paperwork.
- Customer Service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and represent the company professionally.
- Ability to lift and move cases and pallets of food products; comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and working in refrigerated environments.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized, with strong time management skills to complete routes efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior route delivery or food service distribution experience is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company policies and food handling standards.
