We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused CDL Class B or Class A Delivery Driver to join our growing distribution team. This position is ideal for a dependable professional who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a strong safety record, and representing the company with professionalism.
This is a part-time seasonal position with a guaranteed 25 hours per week. Drivers who demonstrate exceptional performance, reliability, and professionalism may have the opportunity to earn additional hours and be considered for full-time employment as business needs allow.
Position Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot commercial delivery truck.
- Deliver products to customer locations accurately and on schedule.
- Load, unload, and secure products safely for transport.
- Safely operate an electric pallet jack during loading and delivery operations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete all delivery documentation and route paperwork accurately.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Minimum QualificationsRequired:
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A License.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience operating a 26-foot commercial truck.
- Minimum 1 year of electric pallet jack experience in a delivery, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Current and valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass all company safety, driving, and employment screening requirements.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and DOT compliance.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move products as required by the position.
Preferred:
- Route delivery experience.
- Experience in beverage, food service, ice distribution, grocery, or related industries.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
