Regional Part Time Class A CDL Driver Jobs in Las Vegas, NV at Let It Ride Trucking LLC
Let It Ride Trucking is a growing transportation company in Las Vegas. We currently have 2 PART TIME positions open for regional driving. Regional work includes the 11 Western States. These are NOT strictly local positions, however, there is local work mixed in with regional runs. We are looking for up to 2 drivers who are flexible and want to work. We run mostly dry vans and specialize in freight that requires on-time delivery and attention to detail.
A qualified driver will have a Nevada CDL with AT LEAST 3 years of verifiable class A experience. PSP record must be acceptable, and a background check will be run. We don’t use anyone that can’t pass a drug test, and we don’t want anyone who doesn’t drive responsibly (no accidents). We do not hire out of the area, driver MUST live in Las Vegas. If you have experience with convention and trade shows, that is a plus! We want someone with GREAT communication skills, who understands the importance of operating safely and within compliance. Must be able to use a smartphone/email/elogs. Positive attitude and work ethic are extremely important.
We run newer Kenworths and Peterbilts, many with manual transmissions. Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in operation of a 13 speed transmission. Trucks are lease maintained, so always kept up. We pay weekly, every Friday. Local work is paid by the hour, and anything out of town is paid a percentage of the load. Drivers get paid well for the miles they drive.
These part-time positions will likely transition into full-time positions for the right candidates.
