Overview
Looking for CDL-A Over the Road drivers to haul daily (weekday) dedicated freight departing West Memphis plant to Distribution Centers in Illinois… it’s a 630 mile round trip. This is a Power Only position using distributor’s trailers that we pre-stage before making the loop. We’re looking for someone close to the facility that can handle 5 routes per week. This is a regional position but drivers that are efficient will be home a most nights and every weekend.
Drivers must have at least 2 years experience OTR with a clean MVR in the past 3 years. NO SAP drivers within 5 years of your final testing, insurance will not clear you.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers in compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Execute route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to hours-of-service regulations and be familiar with MOTIVE eld’s.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip and upload pictures of said inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle condition reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- COMMUNICATION IS KEY

Skills
- 2 Years of proven experience in OTR truck driving and a clean MVR REQUIRED.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean safety record; understanding of commercial driving regulations is essential.
- Efficient route planning. These routes entail a pre-stacking of trailers, basically you stage your next day’s load before hauling the trailer that was staged the day before.
We’re a small company with less than 25 trucks, not too many people to deal with. Great communication and ability to scan and email documents is a MUST!
We have 3 spots open on these routes and are looking for drivers that are able to get these loads completed daily, it’s a 630 mile round trip for the longest route. Drivers that are good managers of time make over $2k weekly.
