Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment across regional routes
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Drive manual transmission trucks confidently, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Manage route driving assignments with precision to meet delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes and freight handling
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and various trailer types (refrigerated, flatbed, tanker)
- Experience with freight load & unload procedures and equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks
- Ability to drive long hours on regional routes while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols for commercial driving
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude toward customer service
