Join our dynamic team as an Regional Class A Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across long distances with energy and precision! In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers equipped with manual transmissions, hauling a variety of non hazmat food grade cargo. Your expertise in driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Drive a 2023 Volvo hauling a 6500 gallon tank (loaded and empty)
- Drop and Hook freight
- Manage route driving plans to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or route adjustments.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Valid Medical Card
- Tanker Endorsment
Details
- Paying $0.72 per mile (paid zip to zip)
- 3,000 miles per week
- All trucks are equip with APUs and inverters
- Paid if you are loaded, empty or bobtail
- All loads are drop and hook
- Out 5 days weeks at a time home 2 days (work days are Friday- Tuesday OR Thursday-Monday)
Pay: $105,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
