Overview
BRAND NEW REACH TRUCK JOBS! We are hiring experienced Reach Truck operators for our new client, Knipper Health, located in Charlestown, Indiana. Positions can be 1st or 2nd shift. The right candidate will also be expected to pick and pack containers to prepare them for shipping. It will also be expected to work other areas of distribution. Must have:
General knowledge of RF equipment, General warehouse or distribution skills, Use of job specific machinery and equipment, Basic math skills (counting, adding, multiplying), Basic computer skills.
Equipment Types
Sit down counter balance, Deep reach truck, Order selector, Turret truck, Electric pallet jacks.
Experience and Education
Must have at least 1 year of Reach Truck experience. High School Diploma/GED required.
Compensation and Schedule
Salary: $17 – $17 per hour.
Shift: First.
Work hours:
8 AM – 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities
Certified to safely operate material handling equipment in various areas and applications. Equipment types are sit down counter balance, deep reach truck, order selector, turret truck, and electric pallet jacks. Equipment can be utilized in standard aisle configurations, wire guided configurations, and refrigerated configurations. The equipment will be utilized for inbound trailer unloading, put away of stock, movement of stock, cycle counting of stock, picking of stock, and outbound loading of trailers and LTL.
As directed by the WMS, users will be expected to follow the system direction to complete daily activities. Activities are done by utilizing the WMS through either radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick-to-light technologies, or computer-based workstations.
