Now Hiring: Full-Time Preschool Chef/Food Director
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and caring Preschool Chef/Food Director to join our team! This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the entire school, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and driving our school bus to pick up kids for our after school program. Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the entire preschool.
- Create healthy, child-friendly monthly menus that meet state licensing and nutrition guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and janitorial supplies; order and restock as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergy protocols.
- Safely transport elementary-aged children from local schools for our after-school program.
- Assist in other areas of the preschool as needed to support daily operations.
- Work collaboratively with the Director and teaching staff to provide a positive environment for children.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, commercial kitchens, or school nutrition programs preferred.
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely transport children for the after-school program.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass all required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
