Passenger Endorsement Driver Jobs in Riverside at MFI Recovery Center
Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides safe and reliable transportation for clients and performs related duties as required. Responsible for maintaining mileage and vehicle maintenance logs.
Duties
- Transport clients safely to various destinations.
- Maintain mileage and maintenance logs as required by the California Highway Patrol.
- Report safety concerns to the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager.
- Maintain professional interactions with clients, coworkers, and the public.
- Follow agency policies and Board of Directors regulations.
- Maintain an average score of 4.0 or higher on the MFI Driver Survey.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver’s License (Class B a must).
- High School diploma or GED.
- Maintain valid liability insurance and a good driving record.
- Adhere to company dress code and professional standards.
Knowledge & Skills
- Safe vehicle operation and California Motor Vehicle Code.
- Basic first aid, vehicle maintenance, and record keeping.
- Proper lifting and loading techniques.
- Map reading and navigation.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
Abilities
- Drive safely in various road and weather conditions.
- Perform minor emergency repairs (e.g., tire change).
- Communicate effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Work independently while maintaining client confidentiality.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Insurable at standard automobile rates.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- FBI and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
- Negative tuberculosis test.
- Pass drug screening.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, operate a vehicle, use office equipment, communicate effectively, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
