Part-Time Trip Driver

Job Summary:

Positions available in the following cities: (locations within 25 Mile Radius of each other)

• Twin Falls
• Buhl
• Hagerman
• Eden
• Hazelton

As a Trip Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers for special events, ensuring their safety and well-being during their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from locations for special events.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on the bus.
• Maintain an orderly, calm, and safe environment on the bus.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Report any required repairs or maintenance to the team.
• Complete and submit mileage reports for the routes driven.
• Keep the bus clean, tidy, and in mechanically sound condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and school safety protocols.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and any other required training.

Requirements:

• At least a Class-B Commercial Drivers License with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Must be able to pass a background check, DOT Physical and DOT Drug screening.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and commit to reliable attendance.
• A passion for serving others and a dedication to their safety.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

Schedule:

• On call, as needed to cover:
• • Activity trips as needed by the school district or
  • Charters as needed by 3rd party booking (weddings, bachelor or bachelorette party)
• Weekend work available

Compensation: $18.55/hr
