Pay: $21–$24 per hour

Guaranteed Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week
JoyRide Medical Transport is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional driver to join our growing team. We provide non-emergency medical transportation services to seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Central Massachusetts.
This position includes a recurring Monday–Saturday schedule with approximately 18 guaranteed hours per week. Additional hours are frequently available based on client demand and are typically communicated 24–48 hours in advance.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments
- Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment properly
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
- Communicate schedule updates and trip information as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service with patience, dignity, and respect
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working with seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass required background checks, driving record checks, and a drug screening
Previous medical transportation, healthcare, caregiving, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Schedule
- Recurring Monday–Saturday routes
- Approximately 18 guaranteed hours weekly
- Additional hours available based on transportation demand
- Most additional trips are scheduled 24–48 hours in advance
