Are you a door dash or uber driver looking to do more throughout the week? Are you customer service oriented? Can you lift heavy things? If so….
We are seeking a reliable delivery driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and businesses. You must be able to lift heavy items, as you will be delivering recliners and scooters. You can expect a work load of 2 days per week (Tuesday and Friday) and approximately 3-6 deliveries per day. We pay $50 per delivery. This is a 1099 position. WE ARE UNABLE TO CONSIDER FELONS FOR THIS POSITION.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans and small trailers
– Load and unload goods from the vehicle
– Communicate effectively with customers and team members
– Follow delivery schedules and routes for timely deliveries
– Inspect and maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
– Handle paperwork such as delivery confirmations and receipts
Experience:
– Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
– Familiarity with various types of delivery vehicles including vans and small trailers
– Experience with forklift operation is a plus
– Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
– Ability to lift and move heavy items when loading/unloading
