Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. There are three shift patterns available for this role; your preference will be discussed at the interview.
Shift Options:
- Option 1:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday, 07:00 – 17:00 - Option 2:
Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 – 17:00 - Option 3:
Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 – 17:00
Location: Parcel force Worldwide Shrewsbury Depot, SY4 4UP
Compensation
- Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
- After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
- Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
- Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
- Paid weekday and weekend overtime
- Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
- Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

Responsibilities
- Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
- Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
- Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
- Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
Qualifications & Requirements
- A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
- Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
- Friendly, dependable, and customer focused
- Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
- Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
