Job Summary
Join our team as a Paratransit Bus Driver with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services for individuals with mobility challenges, seniors, children, and community members. As a member of our transportation team, you will demonstrate excellent driving skills, exceptional customer service, and compassionate communication to enhance the mobility and independence of those we serve.
Duties
- Safely operate paratransit vehicles with a valid CDL, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to passengers, including helping with boarding, seating arrangements, and securing mobility devices.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, including those who may have special needs or require additional support such as childcare or senior care.
- Follow established routes and schedules while managing unexpected delays or route changes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement
- Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols and mechanical basics related to vehicle operation.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities.
Pay: $1,005.00 – $1,520.00 per week
