Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver goods to various locations across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company standards
- Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues during deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Handle heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading tasks with proper technique to prevent injury
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and time management
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and build trust with clients
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, forklift operation, and pallet jack use
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and confidently
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards applicable to heavy lifting and moving tasks
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic laws
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo for extended periods

Pay: $130,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
