Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable owner operator (Independent Contractor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing exceptional customer service. This is a dedicated delivery lane in Mankato, MN so driver will be home everyday. Monday to Sunday work. We are looking for someone who can start running this lane by 05/06/26. So onboarding process is fairly quick.
Duties
- Operate your own Sprinter/cargo van for deliveries and pickups.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of each package to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate technique and equipment.
- Follow established routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and proof of deliver.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Requirements
- This position requires you to bring your own equipment. So you must own/rent your van
- Must show proof of insurance
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures.
- Familiarity with local route driving and navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $8,400.00 per month
