We are looking for an OTR CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Successful candidates will possess strong people skills and have at least three years of Class B Truck Driving experience with Hazmat and Tanker routes. Our drivers are responsible for regionally transporting industrial gases while operating a variety of trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers to transport freight efficiently across designated OTR routes
- Load and unload cargo with precision, utilizing equipment like forklifts when necessary to ensure secure handling of freight
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on brakes, tires, lights, and tankers
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and OTR transportation regulations related to Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Follow planned routes diligently while adapting to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules
- Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for accurate record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements in good standing
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery in various vehicle types such as flatbeds or refrigerated trailers
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely
- Experience with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to transporting hazardous materials (Hazmat) and tankers
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections as needed

Pay: $64,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
