Looking for an OTR driver. We haul 53′ Dry Vans from the Chicago area out to various locations(Texas, California, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, New Mexico, Arizona, etc)
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks across extensive routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
- Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing delivery schedules and communicating proactively with dispatch teams.
Skills
- 2 Years of Experience Minimum
- Experience operating Dry Vans
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures, including load securing and cargo safety protocols.
- Ability to drive long distances safely.
Pay: $0.60 – $0.62 per mile
