Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) <PERSON> Driver, where you will be the vital link delivering freight across long distances with energy and professionalism. In this role, you’ll operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers and specialized trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, roll-off, and forklift-equipped vehicles. Your expertise in driving and load management will ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across regional and national routes
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, compliance with regulations, and optimal performance
- Follow designated routes diligently, managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines while navigating traffic and road conditions effectively
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered on the road
- Ensure cargo is secured properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents during transit
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with route driving is essential
- Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of different trailer types including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety procedures for various freight types
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting to maintain compliance and safety standards
- Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to transportation regulations
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and handling customer interactions professionally

Pay: $1,000.00 – $1,800.00 per week
