Job Overview
Best Driver Solutions is looking for Class A CDL Yard Goat Drivers for an ongoing assignment and on demand drives in Portland, OR. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to supplement their income with consistent weekend work.
Responsibilities·
. Safely move trailers throughout the yard using a yard goat.
· Spot trailers at designated dock doors.
· Inspect equipment before and after each shift.
· Maintain a safe and organized yard environment.
· Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
· Follow all DOT and company safety procedures.
Requirements·
.Valid Class A CDL
· Minimum of 1 year of recent Class A driving experience
· Yard goat or trailer spotting experience preferred
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Clean driving record with an acceptable MVR
· Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
· Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
