Pay & Schedule
- $325–$350 per day (Flat Rate) depending on the route
- Weekly Pay
- Full-Time Position
- Drivers can expect to be out 1–2 weeks at a time
- Assigned late-model equipment
- Routes throughout the Pacific Northwest, including:
- Utah
- Oregon
- Washington
- Idaho
- Montana
- California
Position Overview
This is a touch freight position requiring drivers to assist with loading and unloading freight as needed. Successful candidates are dependable, safety-focused, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Haul dry van freight throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Load and unload freight weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Drive safely through mountain passes and winter weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery and trip information using a handheld device.
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
- Complete all other assigned duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements
You must have held a valid CDL-A for at least 2 years.
No exceptions. This is an insurance requirement.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Experience driving in snow and over mountain passes required
- Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred
- Knowledge of DOT mountain driving regulations
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass:
- DOT Physical
- Drug Screen
- Background Check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Frequent climbing in and out of the tractor
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday
