Overview
Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring non-urgent medical travel. In this role, you will ensure patients and clients reach their appointments comfortably and on time while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients and clients to medical appointments, or other destinations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, and dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility aids, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
Skills
- Must have a valid ModivCare training and certification.
- Communication skills to interact courteously with passengers and team members.
- Knowledge of experience in heavy lifting or assisting passengers with mobility challenges.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safe navigation through various traffic conditions.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude to enhance passenger experience on every trip.
Pay: $100.00 – $150.00 per day
