Job description:
Sandair System is located in Windsor CT and is looking to hire a non CDL driver! We cover CT, and RI, routes change daily. Drivers are home nightly and work Monday-Friday. Forklift experience necessary.
Hours vary, driver must be flexible. Typical hours could be 7 am – 5 pm.
Duties
- Operate trucks to transport goods, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight as required, utilizing appropriate equipment for safe handling.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
