Overview
SOON Trucking is currently hiring 1–2 experienced Box Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, professional drivers who can safely transport freight, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently.
- Transport freight to designated pickup and delivery locations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all DOT and company safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and delivery updates.
- Assist with freight securement and cargo inspections.
Qualifications
✔ Previous box truck driving experience required.
✔ Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
✔ Clean driving record.
✔ Ability to lift, move, and secure freight safely.
✔ Experience with pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus.
✔ Strong navigation, route planning, and time management skills.
✔ Professional attitude and ability to work independently.
✔ Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
