Duties
- Safely operate Non-CDL fuel trucks equipped with pump configurations for efficient routes to deliver fuels.
- Load and unload fuel or freight cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, including checking for leaks, tire condition, brakes, lights, and other critical safety components.
- Drive assigned routes confidently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies while maintaining punctuality for scheduled deliveries.
- Load and secure freight or fuel loads properly to prevent shifting during transit; unload cargo at customer locations with precision.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Skills
- Two years minimum experience required
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on safety standards.
- Ability to load & unload fuels efficiently and safely using equipment, while following safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery times across various terrains and conditions.
- Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits over time.
