Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other non-commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers’ locations.
- Load and unload items using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary.
- Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across designated areas.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety equipment.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and moving supplies safely.
- Skilled in driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent route planning skills to optimize delivery schedules.
